Hello, and welcome to That Final Girl Life. It’s your new favourite final girl here, taking you through The Horrors and out the other side to find out what life is really like after the movie ends.
I can’t believe I need to say this, but apparently it’s a whole thing now: I am an actual real live human being, not an AI. I physically write all my scripts. I watch the movies at least twice before I do an episode on them. Any resources I use, like other people’s articles which I’ve found helpful, will be in the show notes.
Now that’s out the way… since this is the first episode, here’s a little bit about me. I call myself an IRL final girl because I have survived many of the horrible things shown in horror films. Somehow, I still enjoy watching them, mostly I think because I find them relatable and therefore oddly comforting.
